Tuesday 5 March, 3-4pm (with tea and coffee until 4.30pm). Enjoy a light-hearted romp through Greek mythology as depicted on Greek and Roman coins, starting with the tragic lovers Hero and Leander, moving on to the 3 Graces, Pan, Skylla and Charybdis, and the little-known and rather vile Hekate, and finishing with the exploits of Perseus and the 12 labours of Herakles. Never a dull moment! With Keith Sugden, Curator of Numismatics, Manchester Museum.
