The topics covered in this Conference will highlight our excellent electron microscopy facilities and capabilities, and demonstrate how these capabilities are being applied to SoM research in nuclear materials.
Our internationally-distinguished EMC2 keynote speakers are Prof. David B Williams (Dean of Engineering, The Ohio State University) and Prof. Quentin Ramasse (Director, SuperSTEM).
Programme:
- Poster session on the 14 July 2016 (Thursday): 1600 to 1800: MSS EM Centre (Bunker)
- Conference on 15 July 2016 (Friday): 0900 to 1600: Room C53, Sackville Street Building.
We would like to encourage you to present a poster at this event (Thurs 14 July 2016, 1600 - 1800 in the MSS EM Centre). Please send an abstract (a paragraph) to summarise the work that you will be presenting in a poster to the following email address: Thomas.slater-2@manchester.ac.uk. We will then send you a confirmation email.
This conference is organised by the Electron Microscopy Centre with the help of the Manchester Microscopy and Microanalysis (M3) group and the Manchester Performance Centre.
