Networking event: Focus on Nutrition, Trauma and the Elderly – opportunities to improve clinical care

The Inflammation and Repair Domain wants to bring together clinicians and researchers to develop new collaborations in translational research across The University of Manchester faculties and NHS Trusts.
Assessments of and improvements to nutritional interventions are essential for preventing chronic disease and for healing, particularly in the elderly population. There is an opportunity for MAHSC partners to work together to improve outcomes for elderly patients by developing nutritional screening and interventions, both as in-patients and in the community as part of rehabilitation programmes.
This is a networking event for clinicians, allied health professionals and scientists who wish to explore where collaboration can enhance clinical care and translational research.
