DESCRIPTION:Join us for the launch of the Joan Brossa exhibition\, and a 
 panel discussion\, exploring the Catalan poet\, playwright and visual ar
 tist.\n\nIn partnership with the Manchester and Barcelona UNESCO Cities 
 of Literature and the Joan Brossa Foundation\, The University of Manches
 ter is delighted to host this exhibition on Joan Brossa\, one of Barcelo
 na’s most prominent poets\, a key figure in 20th century experimental po
 etry.\n\nThe images on display in this exhibition have been curated by t
 he Joan Brossa Foundation in Barcelona. The exhibition is one of a serie
 s of cultural exchange events in place between Manchester and Barcelona 
 UNESCO Cities of Literature during 2025.\n\nYou will have the opportunit
 y to view the exhibition\, and to hear from a range of speakers on the l
 ife and works of Joan Brossa. Speakers incluude Samuel Llano (The Univer
 sity of Manchester)\, Helena Buffery (University College Cork).\n\nAbout
