 he universe for almost 70 years\, and this winter you can too\, at Astro
  Night – Kids!\n\nA stellar evening of fun for families\, explore the ni
 ght sky with the Jodrell Bank team and Macclesfield Astronomical Society
  – it’s the perfect treat for budding young stargazers.\n\nSee stars and
  constellations up close in the Space Dome before heading outside (weath
 er permitting) and using planispheres\, binoculars and telescopes to nav
 igate the night sky! Plus\, hold a real meteorite\, dress up as an astro
 naut and make your own comet to take home.\n\nThese events have been ver
 y popular so book early to avoid missing out\, and get ready to discover
  the wonders of the galaxy at Jodrell Bank.\n\nPlease note that observin
 g the night sky is weather permitting\, and appropriate clothing is reco
 mmended.\n\nIf weather conditions are poor\, alternative activities will
  be on offer and the event will happen as scheduled.\n\nThis event is re
 commended for families with children aged 7-11.
