 ity.\n\nDr. Rakib Akhtar is an Assistant Professor of Urban Planning at 
 the University of Birmingham. An interdisciplinary scholar and chartered
  Architect and Town Planner\, his research explores the nexus of technol
 ogy-driven urbanisation\, infrastructure\, and the rise of right-wing na
 tionalism\, sitting at the intersection of Urban Planning\, Political Ec
 onomy\, and Development Studies. His current research continues to explo
 re the politics of planning\, digital urbanism\, and the governance of i
 nfrastructure in the Global South.
