 reopening\, and what a year it has been. Join us to celebrate our Paper 
 Anniversary\, winning Museum of the Year and welcoming many thousands of
  visitors.\n\nJoin us for a day of making\, performance and play\, all t

 g. Join the Kamishibai Gagi and his bicycle theatre for tall tales and p
 aper stories.\n\n\nTime’s Garland for the Year.\n\n2pm - 5pm.\nLocation:
  Grand Hall.\nDurational performance from artist Nicola Dale\, inspired 
 by Walter Crane’s\, Time’s Garland for the Year.  Watch as 365 sheets of
  green paper in different shades\, textures and weights are transformed 
 into an extraordinary green space.\n\n\nWorkshops and installations:\n\n
 \nPop-Up Paper Florist.\n\n10am – 5pm.\nLocation: New Acquisitions.\nVis
 it our pop-up stall and help florists create beautiful paper bouquets an
 d blooms.  \n\nFlutter.\n\n11am - 1pm.\nLocation: Portraits.\nDust in th
 e crevice of an old book’s spine\, the crumple of scraps\, the scratch o
 f a biro. Paper as sound\, shape and stimulus.  Whitworth Young Contempo
 raries artists Helen Newman & Cave Man present an interactive challenge 
 to the senses. \n\nNoise Orchestra.\n\n2pm – 5pm.\nLocation: Portraits.\
 nCreate graphical paper scores inspired by the patterns of the Whitworth
  wallpapers. Expect electronics\, turntables\, light and noise! \n\nCutt
 ing Edge.\n\n10am -5pm.\nLocation: Watercolours.\nFold\, cut\, shape and
  tear.  Work with artists to build a Tibor Reich-inspired geometric pape
 r installation. \n\nWallpaper Studio.\n\n10am - 5pm.\nLocation: Learning
  Studio.\nInspired by our bold and beautiful wallpapers\, come and creat
