DESCRIPTION:Stage Two of the application process for the Manchester Acces
 s Programme is a selection and introduction day at the University for ap
 plicants who progressed through Stage One. This will allow us to verify 
 the information applicants supplied in their application and ensure that
  they will benefit from the Manchester Access Programme.\n\nStudents nee
 d to successfully attend a selection and induction day before they can b
 e formally admitted onto the Programme. \n\nThe Manchester Access Progra
 mme (MAP) is a structured scheme for local post-16 students who meet spe
 cific academic and background criteria. The aim of the programme is to s
 upport entry to The University of Manchester\, or another research-inten
 sive university\, through the completion of a portfolio of work which de
