 his event is borders and migration.\n\nAbout this event\n\nThe Ahmed Iqb
 al Ullah (AIU) RACE (Race\, Archives and Community Engagement) Centre is
  a specialist library and archive focusing on the experiences and storie
 s of Black\, Asian\, global majority\, refugee and migrant communities.\
 n\nIn 50 years' time or more\, if anyone asks\, "What was life like duri
 ng the Covid-19 pandemic for Black\, Asian\, migrant and refugee communi
 ties in Greater Manchester?" we want to be able to answer.\n\nSince last
  year\, the Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Race Centre has been running a Covid-19 co
 llecting project to make sure these stories aren't lost. As part of this
  work\, we are running Collecting During Covid\, a series of events exam
 ining Covid-19 in Greater Manchester from marginalised perspectives. Our
  theme for this event is borders and migration.\n\nOur guest speakers ar
 e:\n\n• Fereshteh Mozaffari from Sheba Arts\, a women-led community arts
  organisation based in Manchester working alongside migrants and refugee
 s. We will also be showing some of the work Sheba Arts has produced duri
 ng the pandemic.\n\n• Sanaz Raji from Unis Resist Border Controls\, a na
 tional campaign supporting non-EU international university students and 
 workers.\n\n• TBC from Europia\, an organisation supporting Eastern Euro
 pean nationals in Manchester since 2008.\n\nFind out about their experie
 nces supporting communities through a hostile environment\, ongoing aust
 erity and a global pandemic.\n\nThis event is open to all and will be li
