DESCRIPTION:The talk will describe and show examples of the types of tele
 scopes now available for use by amateurs to observe the planets\, stars 
 and galaxies along with their relative strengths and weaknesses. \n\nTel
 escopes must be mounted to track objects across the sky\, and these too 
 will be demonstrated.  Now usually computer controlled\, they can be use
 d to automatically find objects in the heavens to make the most of your 
 observing time.\n\nFollowing the 50 minute talk there will be a 30 minut
 e question and answer session to address your particular queries about t
 elescopes and observing and then\, if clear\, we will do some observing.
