Come and join one of our Explainers for a talk about the Lovell telescope. You’ll learn all about the fascinating role it played in the space race and find out about some of the objects it studies in space such as quasars and pulsars. There will be live demonstrations too, including a rocket launch and a chance to meet the Jodrell Bank black hole!
Telescope Talks take place in the Wolfson Auditorium and are included in general admission. Talks last approx. 30 mins and are suitable for ages 5+.
