Due to the current Coronavirus situation our face to face CPD session has been converted into online webinar.
The CPD session will look at how culture impacts on health and wellbeing. This is an interactive session which draws on participants’ personal and professional experience. You are invited to apply cultural theories into your professional practice to better understand how to improve the health and well-being outcomes of different cultural groups.
At the end of the session participants should be able to:
• Demonstrate an understanding of culture and its impact on health.
• Discuss and critically discuss cultural values, beliefs and behaviours in relation to health and well-being.
• Discuss and critically discuss the cultural enhancers and cultural obstacles for health and well-being from own experiences and examples from literature.
