A presentation will be given by Jose Reyes from NuScale Power entitled ‘An Overview of the NuScale Small Modular Reactor Design’
Following the presentation there will be opportunity for questions/discussion and light refreshments will be available afterwards.
Jose Reyes is Chief Technology Officer at NuScale Power and will be in the UK to give a series of university lectures on the subject of small modular nuclear reactors. He is co-founder of NuScale Power and co-designer of the NuScale Power Module. He is an internationally recognised expert on passive safety systems, and serves as an adviser to the UN International Atomic Energy Agency. He is an inspiring speaker and this presents an opportunity for students keen on a future in nuclear engineering or related fields, and faculty staff, to engage with someone at the cutting edge of the industry.
