DESCRIPTION:Join us for a powerful evening of conversation & testimony as
  we bring together people from across Nottingham to discuss how we effec
 tively organise to build positive change in the black community. All wel
 come.\n\nAt a time when the City Council is making painful cuts that har
 m our communities the police force is in special measures and the health
  trust is under review\, coming together has never felt more needed.\n\n
 This event offers a unique platform for people from minoritised backgrou
 nds to share their stories and perspectives\, allowing for deep conversa
 tions surrounding racism\, resistance and social justice.\n\nCurated by 
 journalist and author Gary Younge\; chaired by activist Dr Panya Banjoko
 \, in collaboration with University of Manchester CODE (Centre on Dynami
 cs of Ethnicity) and supported by Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and Resolve
  Notts.\n\nThe event will feature an inspiring panel of speakers\, each 
 bringing their unique insights and lived experiences to the conversation
 . Together\, we will explore Nottingham’s journey\, its intersection wit
 h race\, and the power of community storytelling.
