Title: First steps in lattice trigonometry
Abstract: In this talk we discuss a new insight on lattice geometry and its invariants. In particular we get some experience with integer trigonometric functions introduced in 2008 in the planar case and generalised to the multidimensional case in 2023. These trigonometric functions are closely related to geometric continued fractions of the corresponding lattice angles. Lattice trigonometry provides a comprehensive description of singularities of toric surfaces of arbitrary fixed value of Euler characteristic.
