This workshop will build on simple techniques using chatGPT and programming, where we can get AI to code qualitative data, and create more efficient research workflows for data analysis. We'll also look at ways in which the technology can be used to open up new lines of exploration - particularly through combining image analysis and text, and also through mining the latent structures within the large language model itself. Also we will look at ways in which the technology can assist in research collaboration.
