 hop discusses current preparations and mitigation plans. Using an online
  tool participants simulate fictional outbreaks starting in Manchester a
 nd rapidly spreading globally.\n\nCome and explore what might happen in 
 a future emergency\, how cities might cope and the consequences of measu
 res like quarantine. Historic maps of infectious disease in Manchester f
 rom the library visual archive are also on display.\n\nThis event is par
 t of the ESRC Festival of Social Science.
