Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the problem-solving day due to an N Brown decision to cancel all public events in line with COVID-19 prevention.
We hope to reschedule the event for a future date, but given the current uncertainty, we can't say when this will be.
............................................
The N Brown Day is an industry problem-solving event for undergraduate and postgraduate students from The University of Manchester. N Brown is an online retailer, headquartered in Manchester, which offers a range of products; predominantly clothing, footwear and homewares. The challenge is to apply your mathematical (and possibly programming) skills to solve a real-world problem that they face. You will gain insight into how your maths is likely to be applied once the event is over.
The most creative teams will be invited to the N Brown office in the Northern Quarter to present their work to a team of Data Scientists!
Registration for this event is FREE, simply fill in the registration form below. Note that you need to be a member of the Manchester SIAM-IMA Student Chapter to attend this event. If you have not joined the Chapter yet, you can register for free using the second link.
