As part of your studies you may be asked to perform a project or research using Finite Element Analysis (FEA). One of the software tools provided for you in order to complete this task at this University is Abaqus. This presentation is aimed at students who have little or no previous knoweldge of FEA or Abaqus and provides an introduction to FEA in general, the use of Abaqus, how to get started using the software and where to find help and guidance. Clint Davies-Taylor will be available to answer questions after the seminar.
