 flict Response Institute (HCRI) are pleased to invite you to the annual 
 public Tri-Institute lecture\, in conjunction with the Institute for Dev
 elopment and Policy Management (IDPM) and the Brooks World Poverty Insti
 tute (BWPI).\n\nThis year's event features speakers working at the foref
 ront of the current Ebola Response in West Africa. It brings together an
 thropologists\, medical doctors and humanitarian workers to critically r
 eflect on progress to date and what more can be done. \n\nSpeakers inclu
 de:\n\nFernanda Falero Cusano is an Anthropologist and Health Promotion 
 Advisor at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Spain. She has more than 11 ye
 ars of humanitarian fieldwork experience working with emergency medical 
 humanitarian organisations in various countries and is also completing h
 er MPhil at HCRI. **Fernanda can no longer attend the event as she has b
 een deployed as part of the Mali response team with MSF Spain**\n\nVicki
 e Hawkins is the Executive Director of MSF UK. She joined MSF in 1998 af
 ter 3 years working in the Emergencies Department at Oxfam. She has unde
 rtaken successive missions in a range of countries as a Project Coordina
 tor\, Head of Mission and Head of Programmes\, before starting her curre
 nt role in May 2014.\n\nMukesh Kapila (CBE) is Professor of Global Healt
 h and Humanitarianism in the Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences (FMHS
 ) and Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute (HCRI). Mukesh has ex
 tensive experience in the policy and practice of international developme
 nt\, including his time as Special Advisor to the UN and Director at WHO
 . \n\nAnn Kelly joined the University of Exeter as a Senior Lecturer in 
 Anthropology in 2012. Prior to this she worked at the London School of H
 ygiene and Tropical Medicine. Ann's work focuses on the relevance of ant
 hropological insights and methods for public health.\n\nTony Redmond (OB
 E) is the Deputy Director of HCRI and Director of the UK International T
 rauma Register (UKIETR). Professor Redmond has led medical teams to sudd
 en onset disasters\, complex emergencies and conflicts for over twenty f
 ive years. He is currently part of the team coordinating the national me
 dical response to ebola in conjunction with the Department for Internati
 onal Development of the UK Government.\n
