 ches\n\nThe purpose of Mapping/GIS club activity is to allow UoM researc
 hers to:\n\n- Present their research and discuss sticking points that th
 e community may be able to help them with\n- Find new collaboration part
 ners from across the University\n- Ask questions within the community so
  that members can share experience/ideas to save time\n- Share ideas on 
 funding calls that are relevant to the community\n- Share equipment (if 
 free) and resources\n- Discuss technology/methodology advances and provi
 de advice on what to/not to buy\n- Advertise talks that may be of intere
 st to the community & widen participation across campus.\n\nClub Lead: D

  capabilities themes and are targeted particularly at early career resea
 rchers. The Innovation Clubs help to build communities of practice aroun
 d key digital research technologies and provide a forum for researchers 
 to share their knowledge\, experience and practical skills in these area
 s.\n\nThis activity is also part of wider IT club activity Computation a
 nd Data in research (CaDiR).\n\n\nTo join the meetings\, please sign up
