The Humanities New Academics Programme is opening up this workshop to all Academic staff in Humanities.
Facilitator: Dr Miriam Firth, Senior Lecturer in Education, School of Environment, Education and Development (SEED).
This workshop is for colleagues who are employed on teaching and scholarship contracts and/or who are interested in promotion to senior lecturer, on the T&S career path. It will offer you the opportunity to reflect on and consider the next steps for planning and submitting a successful application for promotion to senior lecturer. The workshop will not cover issues relating to promotion beyond SL.
Since it will focus only on the T&S promotion criteria, the workshop is not suitable for colleagues who are employed on T&R or R contracts, or who anticipate eventually seeking promotion on the T&R or R career pathways.
