The Next Steps workshop series is designed to support research staff in the Humanities (e.g. post-doctoral research fellows and research associates) in thinking about the next steps in their careers.
In this inaugural session, we will focus on grant capture.
Chloe Jeffries (Head of Strategic Funding, HUMS) will give an overview of the support available within the Faculty and the current external funding landscape.
This will be followed by brief presentations by Chrisoula Lionis (SALC), Mathew Johnson (AMBS), and Siobhan Hearne (SALC), who will talk about their experiences in transitioning from post-doc positions to acquiring prestigious grants from funders including UKRI and Wellcome.
We will conclude with a Q&A/discussion.
This is an online session and will be held on Microsoft Teams.
