DESCRIPTION:The rise of the internet and social media has significantly a
 ccelerated the spread of misinformation\, posing serious societal challe
 nges. While large language models (LLMs) offer new opportunities for mis
 information detection\, they also enable the creation of increasingly co
 nvincing false information\, blurring the line between truth and decepti
 on.\n\nThis workshop invites researchers and practitioners to explore th
 e dual role of LLMs in misinformation—both as a tool for detection and a
  challenge in itself. We aim to foster discussions on state-of-the-art t
 echniques\, emerging trends\, and future directions in misinformation de
 tection\, ultimately working toward comprehensive frameworks that addres
 s the complex and evolving nature of this issue.\n\nJoin us to contribut
 e insights\, share research\, and collaborate on innovative solutions to
  combat misinformation in the age of LLMs! There is no registration fee\
