 lebration is a short film by Sheril A. Bustaman with Dr Nadiah Ahmad in 
 collaboration with MIDEQ partners at the University of Manchester Dr Tan
 ja Bastia and Matthew Walsham\, looking at the activities of Nepali migr
 ant workers in Kuala Lumpur\, Malaysia during Hari Raya Aidilfitri (know
 n globally as Eid)\, the most celebrated public holiday in the Muslim-ma
 jority country. The short film takes a peek into the lives of the migran
 t workers through a gender lens\, seeing how they spend the national hol
 iday placemaking and creating their own version of joy\, rest and celebr
 ation.\n \nThe screening and discussion is followed by a drinks receptio
 n at 5pm.
