 ate Research (PGR) Showcase event\, taking place 6 September 2013. \n\nO
 pen to all our postgraduate research students and academics\, the showca
 se provides an opportunity to find out more about the pioneering researc
 h being conducted by our postgraduates\, with oral and poster presentati
 ons representing all our Schools and Institutes. \n\nAlongside this\, ex
 pert review panels will provide feedback to support and develop presenta
 tion skills whilst peer review opportunities will develop the assessment
  skills of our audience. Prizes will be awarded for both oral and poster
  presentations.  \n\nOur network of Postgraduate Directors\, Tutors and 
 Skills Trainers will be on hand to offer further advice to those plannin
 g poster or oral presentations at future events.\n\nThe event includes l
 unch and opportunity for students to share thoughts on their postgraduat
 e experience so far\, seek guidance on the challenges ahead and make con
 nections with fellow students. \n\nSo\, whether you are starting out on 
 your postgraduate degree\, are due to make the leap into your first post
 doctoral position or are an academic involved in postgraduate supervisio
