Community Mapping Day
As part of The University of Manchester’s Community Festival 2021 we invite you to help us map the way for prosthetic and orthopaedic surgeons to reach those in need of healthcare and prosthetic limbs in Northern Uganda by taking part in Community Mapping.
Let’s come together as a global community to help make a difference in one big volunteering effort. Together we have a chance to change the lives of thousands of people in Northern Uganda. Each feature we add to the Community Map could mean a new limb for someone who has been injured by conflict.
Sign up to take part in a 45min interactive workshop, where Dr Jonny Huck, Senior Lecturer in Geographical Information Science, will explore why this Community Mapping project is so important and step you through the process of mapping using communitymapping.org.
