Research Seminar on Ocean Energy and Engineering - Professor Peter Stansby
In this Research Seminar the developments in wave energy and tidal
stream energy over the past year will be presented.
For wave energy experimental data and numerical modelling have
been improved, both for operational and extreme wave conditions.
A novel SPH model will be described for extremes.
For tidal stream turbines numerical modelling of arrays of turbines
has been developed along with fast optimisation.
Future plans will be outlined.
