Policy@Manchester Publication Launch: On Cancer
Join Policy@Manchester to hear from a panel of experts about our new publication On Cancer, and the future of cancer care in Greater Manchester.
1 in 2 people born in the UK since 1960 will have cancer in their lifetime, with those in deprived regions at the greatest risk. Our new publication offers academic insight and policy recommendations on cancer's prevention, diagnosis, and treatment - including how we level up cancer care pathways across the country.
Join us at the Midland Hotel on 18 February to hear from our expert panel, on cancer and inequalities, the role of data in delivering personalised healthcare, advanced radiotherapies, international collaboration, and more.
Registration will open from 12.30 with a light sandwich lunch before the panel begins at 13.00. There will be an opportunity for Q&A.
If you would like to attend please register by emailing policy@manchester.ac.uk letting us know of any dietary or access requirements you may have.
