DESCRIPTION:FGM/C is child abuse and contravenes the UN Convention on the
  rights of the child\; it is also a global problem affecting 100 - 140 m
 illion women worldwide. \n\nDue to migration many women living in the UK
  and especially large cities such as Manchester are affected. Those wome
 n living with FGM/C experience many physical\, psychological\, social an
 d relationship challenges and this study aims to gather information to h
 elp clarify how local NHS services can help.
