DESCRIPTION:Overview\nIf you are looking to make assessment more impactfu
l\, scalable\, and aligned with developing independent learners\, this s
ession will provide concrete methods you can apply straight away in your
modules.\n\nBy the end of this workshop\, participants will be able to:
\n\n- Explain the theoretical foundation of active self-feedback based o
 n Nicol's (2021) inner feedback theory\n\n- Design and implement self-fe
edback activities using the cycle of doing\, comparing\, and refining\n\
n- Generate customisable self-feedback worksheets for their own discipli
nary context using GenAI prompts\n\n- Apply evidence-based strategies to
enhance student autonomy and evaluative judgement in their teaching\n\n
 - Create reusable assessment designs that incorporate active self-feedba
ck principles\n\nParticipants will leave this workshop with immediately
implementable tools and strategies to integrate active self-feedback int
o their teaching practice. They will gain:\n\n- A practical understandin
g of how inner feedback theory translates into classroom practice\n\n- R
 eady-to-use GenAI prompts that generate discipline-specific self-feedbac
 k worksheets\n\n- Comprehensive implementation guides featuring cross-di
sciplinary case studies from 18 modules\n\n- Video resources for both st
udents and staff to support implementation\n\n- Hands-on experience desi
gning reusable assessments for their own teaching contexts\n\n- Evidence
-based confidence in the approach's effectiveness\, with research showin
g 86% of engaged students achieving significant intellectual development
gains \n \nPlease register to attend using the link: \nhttps://app.manc
