DESCRIPTION:The Faculty of Humanities is providing a half day training wo
 rkshop on Tuesday\, 24 March as part of the ongoing development of the R
 esearch Communications and Marketing Network. The aim is to support Acad
 emic and PSS colleagues in obtaining an understanding of the Effective U
 se of Social Media for Disseminating Research.\n\nThis interactive sessi
 on will focus on how you might use social media to support core activity
  related to research communications\, reputation and impact\; align soci
 al media channels and content to objectives and audiences\; and find and
  connect with target audiences. \n\nFollowing brief introductions and pr
 esentations from Lynda McIntosh (Research Communications and Marketing M
 anager\, Faculty of Humanities) and Jonathan Keighren (Social Media and 
 Emergency Communications Manager\, Division of Communications and Market
 ing) the session will be facilitated by digital content strategist and e
 ducation trends expert Tracy Playle from Pickle Jar Communications. \n\n
