DESCRIPTION:<b>Sustainable Systems for CO<sub>2</sub> Utilisation: from I
 nnovation to Practical Implementation</b>\n\nUnder the researcher links 
 scheme offered within the Newton Fund\, the British Council will be hold
 ing a workshop in Beijing China from 23-26 July 2018.\n\nThe workshop is
  being coordinated by Prof C. Hardacre (School of Chemical Engineering a
 nd Analytical Science\, University of Manchester\, UK) and Prof Xiangpin
 g Zhang (Institute of Process engineering\, Chinese Academy of Sciences)
 \, and will have contributions from other leading researchers from the U
 K and China.\n\nThis is a call for applications from early career resear
 cher based in the UK to attend the workshop. All travel and accommodatio
 n expenses will be covered by the grant. 17 UK based delegates will be s
 elected to join 17 China based delegates in China in July.\n\nProposed t
 opics to be covered: photocatalysis\, electrochemistry\, catalysis and p
 rocess system integration.\n\nELIGIBILITY: This opportunity is open to e
 arly career researchers based in the UK (no restriction on nationality).
  Early career researchers are defined as holding a PhD and having up to 
 10 years post-PhD research experience. Consideration will be given to re
 searchers with more than 10 years post-doc experience that have taken ex
 tended career breaks.\n\nLOCATION: The workshop will be held in the Inst
 itute of Process engineering (IPE)\, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
