DESCRIPTION:This day will give you the chance to explore the variety of d
 egrees and course options available within the study of History at Manch
 ester\, as well as gain information on the diverse range of potential ca
 reer opportunities open to History graduates.\n\n'History' covers a rang
 e of exciting subjects that can be explored at The University of Manches
 ter. Courses can include units on ancient\, medieval\, modern and econom
 ic and social history\, as well as on the history of science\, technolog
 y and medicine\, and you can specialise in topics which include British\
 , European\, American\, African and Asian history.\n\nHistory can also b
 e studied with various combinations of subjects\, including Politics\, E
 conomics\, American Studies and Sociology. There are also a range of his
 tory-related courses\, including Archaeology\, Art History\, Classics an
 d Ancient History\, and Religions and Theology.\n\nOur History staff and
  students will be available throughout the day\, and there will be a ded
 icated question-and-answer session with our current students. The day wi
 ll also include a campus tour where you can see some of the teaching spa
 ces\, learning facilities and social areas on our Oxford Road campus.
