This workshop, run by artsmethods@manchester, introduces one of the most widely practised methods in the study of texts. Textual analysis is intended as a tool which engenders readings. The workshop provides an overview of textual analysis approaches, for postgraduate researchers working with texts. It explores examples of how to use textual analysis in Arts research, as well as a range of analytical techniques and some hands-on practice on close textual reading.
