 sibilities? Understanding young Holocaust survivors experiences of displ
 acement.\n\nDescription: Through the case study of a group of young Holo
 caust survivors in the immediate aftermath of the Second World War\, thi
 s presentation will discuss how historians and other migration scholars 
 can understand patterns of displacement and individual trajectories of c
 hildren and youth.\n\nSecond Speaker: Marie-Luce Desgrandchamps\n\nTitle
 : Helping all the victims? The ICRC and the Congo crisis (1960-1965)\n\n
 Description: For the Red Cross\, which claimed to be a worldwide movemen
 t\, the decolonization process in Africa and its consequences represente
 d a real challenge. Focusing more particularly on the troubles that foll
 owed the independence of the Belgian Congo\, this paper analyses how rac
 ism and paternalism among ICRC’s members and delegates influenced their 
 responses to the crisis. More specifically\, it highlights how such conc
 eptions led to the establishment of a hierarchy between the victims\, an
 d questions their impact on the development of the Red Cross movement in
