 ng the?International Day of Women and Girls in Science?and advancing?Sus
 tainable Development Goal 5: Gender Equality.? \n\nBringing together stu
 dents\, staff\, and partners from five countries\, the symposium will ex
 plore how international collaboration can support gender equality and im
 prove opportunities for women and girls in STEM. Through keynote contrib
 utions\, international case studies\, and interactive workshops\, partic
 ipants will engage with current challenges\, share experiences\, and co-
 develop practical ideas for change across higher education and research.

 workshops in advance\, and don’t need to attend the entire symposium. \n
 \nThe symposium takes an interdisciplinary and intersectional approach a
 nd is open to?students\, academic staff\, professional services staff\, 
 and international partners?across higher education.? It is co-led by the
  Going Global Gender Equality Project partners in Manchester and Kenya a
 nd is funded by the British Council (GEP2024-013) and the University of 
 Manchester.
