DESCRIPTION:Do we want a future without trees?\n\nTrees in cities are key
  for health and well-being\, carbon storage\, pollution amerilation\, sl
 owing rainwater runoff\, urban cooling\, wildlife and landscape.  Since 
 2015 the developments along Oxford Road corridor has resulted in the rem
 oval of 120 trees.  New trees have been replanted in other areas\, but t
 here is always a loss when a tree is felled.\n\nArtist Phil Barton recor
 ded all these fellings by creating postcards and this Heritage Futures S
 tudio pop up exhibition is the display of his art work and signposting t
 o organisations who are working on the importance of future city trees.\

 e in Hertiage Futures Sutdio\, which ask how we can shape the future and
  explore the themes of profusion\, diversity\, uncertainity and  transfo
 rmation .\n\n Phil Barton will be leading performative walks at the foll
