Professor Chris Holmes: Programme Director for Health and Medical Sciences
Talk: The use of AI in Health Research
Chris Holmes is Programme Director for Health and Medical Sciences at The Alan Turing Institute. His appointment is made jointly with Health Data Research UK. He is Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Oxford with a joint appointment between the Department of Statistics and the Nu?eld Department of Clinical Medicine through the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics and the Li Ka Shing Centre for Health Innovation and Discovery.

Talk: HDRUK Training for Health Data Scientists: Longitudinal and spatial case studies in statistical methods for real-time health surveillance
Peter Diggle is the Director of Training at Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) where he leads their innovative training programme for health data scientists. Peter works with academic institutions across the UK to draw up a training strategy that builds on existing best practice to create a programme that will transform the careers of future leaders in this area on a national scale.
