 partment of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of M
 anchester\, will be presenting on The Supergen Energy Networks Impact Hu

 uty director of the new Supergen Energy Networks Impact Hub which will r
 un for five years from October 2023. The Supergen Energy Networks Impact
  Hub brings together the vibrant and diverse energy networks community t
 o gain a deeper understanding of the interactions and inter-dependencies
  of energy networks\, and to deliver impactful change to help make energ
 y networks a driving force for decarbonisation. Robin will talk about th
 e hub\, its research goals\, and ways to get involved.\n\nProfessor Fole
 y is Chair in Net Zero Infrastructure and a joint appointment to Mechani
 cal\, Aerospace and Civil Engineering (MACE) and Electrical and Electron
 ic Engineering (EEE) in the School of Engineering at The University of M
 anchester. She is also Executive Managing Editor of Elsevier's Renewable
  and Sustainable Energy Reviews\, a member of the Editorial Board of Nat
 ure Scientific Reports (Mechanical Engineering) and an Editorial Panel M
 ember of the Proc. Institution of Civil Engineers – Transport. Her resea
 rch work focuses on power and gas systems\, transport systems\, wind pow
 er integration\, and  technoenviro-economic analysis of energy systems. 
 Before joining Manchester in 2023\, she was with Queen’s University Belf
 ast from 2011 to 2023\, where she was promoted by progression from Lectu
 rer to Reader and finally Professor. She also worked at the University C
 ollege Cork's School of Engineering as a Lecturer and as a Senior Enviro
 nmental Protection Agency Climate Change Research Fellow from 2006 to 20
 11\, both part-time and fulltime. She is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow
  of Engineers Ireland and a Senior Member of the IEEE. Prior to academia
  she spent nearly 15 years in industry delivering energy\, pharmaceutica
 l\, telecommunications\, and waste projects for ESB International (engin
 eering consultants)\, PM Group (project management and engineering compa
