Simon Visiting Professor
Niko Besnier is Professor of Cultural Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam.
He is currently directing a five-year project entitled "Globalisation, Sport and the Precarity of Masculinity" funded by an Advanced Grant from the European Research Council (2012–17).
He is editor-in-chief of American Ethnologist.
