 s Chair in Radiotherapy Physics and is responsible for developing a prog
 ramme of international leading radiotherapy physics research and innovat
 ion to deliver direct patient benefits with The Christie NHS Foundation 
 Trust. The main focus is on accuracy of radiotherapy including target vo
 lume definition\, treatment planning\, image guidance and treatment foll
 ow-up.\n\nTitle and abstract to follow. \n\nDavid Wong. David is Lecture
 r for AI in Healthcare. His research interests focus on investigating th
 e impact of using continuous signals to assist clinicians in diagnosing 
 and monitoring patients. \n\nDavid's talk is titled: 'Towards remote and
  contactless assessment of movement disorders'. \n\nVisual assessment of
  patients is a core component of clinical medicine. Experienced clinicia
 ns often report a gut-feeling of  ‘knowing’ when a patient is unwell at 
 first sight. Can we replicate this intuition by extracting information f
 rom videos? In this talk\, we will explore some of the ways that clinica
 l information has been gleaned from videos over the last 5-10 years. We 
 will then look at some of our recent work in trying to measure and class
 ify some symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. Finally\, we will think about 
 some of the practical challenges in developing these methods for real-li
 fe clinical practice.
