Startup Spotlight with Omar Haroun, Co-Founder of Nanograft
Startup Spotlight is The Masood Entrepreneurship Centre's guest speaker series, highlighting early stage entrepreneurs who are currently studying at, or have recently graduated from The University of Manchester.
This Semester, MEC Enterprise Assistant Esha Sharma will be interviewing NanoGraft co-founder, Omar Haroun. We'll be covering the topic of confidence and resilience; how to keep motivated in the face of adversity, how to combat fear of failure and building an effective team.

Omar is a fourth year University of Manchester MEng. Materials Science and Engineering student with a keen interest in Bio and Nanomaterials. Omar and Gergana founded NanoGraft in 2021 with the aim to help amputees alleviate phantom limb pain. Earlier this year NanoGraft won the first ever Sustainability award in the Eli and Britt Harari Graphene Enterprise competition 2022.
