 technologies is exciting and probably limited largely by our imagination
 . However\, the real world runs on mild and low alloy steels\, \nand the
  problem solving of engineering components and equipment and their appli
 cations can provide both an interesting and rewarding career. This talk 
 will lay out some of the basic principles\n of problem solving in the re
 al world\, illustrated with actual case studies\, which may help to reso
