  fractal geometry\, with Hausdorff dimension and box-counting dimensions
  probably the best known. We will show that Hausdorff and box dimensions
  may be regarded as the extremes of a continuum of dimensions\, called i
 ntermediate dimensions. The talk will describe some of the main properti
