DESCRIPTION:A 1.5hr workshop where MAP students will investigate the diff
 erent roles of colour in nature and explore the physical and biological 
 context of colour in the natural world. This student-led workshop may be
  of interest to students interested in studying university courses such 
 as Biology\, Physics\, Chemistry\, Engineering\, Environmental Science\,
  Zoology\, and more… The Manchester Access Programme (MAP) is a structur
 ed scheme for local post-16 students who meet specific academic and back
 ground criteria. The aim of the programme is to support entry to The Uni
 versity of Manchester\, or another research-intensive university\, throu
 gh the completion of a portfolio of work which demonstrates specific kno
