The Whitworth is part of Artist Film International, a unique network of 17 art organisations that come together annually to each nominate an artist film from their region. Themed around the notion of ‘truth’, this year’s programme brings together recent work by artists working across animation, video and narrative film.
The day-long programme will include a lunchtime talk with artist Tom Ireland, whose work Actuality Picture / The Magic Lantern (Middle Chapter), 2009-17, was selected for Artist Film International 2018 by the Whitworth.
