North West Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance meeting: Athletes’ heart

About the event:
The meeting will focus on Athletes’ heart. CPD credit has been applied for (the previous meetings were approved for 3 and 2 CPD credits respectively by the Royal College of Physicians).
Sanjay Sharma (St George’s and Medical Director of the London Marathon) will present an overview of athlete’s heart. Nik Abidin (Salford) will discuss echocardiographic evaluation of athlete’s heart and Matthias Schmitt (Manchester) will discuss the role of CMR in athlete’s heart.
The meeting should be of great interest to cardiologists (of all subspecialties), radiologists, echocardiographers, radiographers, physicists and researchers in the field.
