DESCRIPTION:The monthly Faculty Research Series events are open to all st
 aff and students from across the Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences a
 nd the University\, offering an opportunity to celebrate research achiev
 ement and stimulate scientific interaction.  Each month\, one host Schoo
 l or Institute from the Faculty will pair with a different School or Ins
 titute to highlight and showcase similar topics from different perspecti
 ves.\n\nThe 2013 series is being led by Professor David Eisner and admin

 eting lasts an hour\, including two 20-25 minute presentations – one fro
 m a junior and one from a more senior member of Faculty staff. Each pres
 entation will be followed by a short discussion.\n\nA buffet lunch will 
 be available from 12.30 pm. Presentations begin at 1 pm.\n\nFinal detail
