DESCRIPTION:Our popular Introduction to Astrophotography courses are retu
 rning this winter.\n\nJoin us for an informal and fun session that inclu
 des an introductory workshop (co-presented by Jodrell Bank Observatory’s
  Dr. Ant Holloway)\, along with a chance for you to try out your equipme
 nt and talk to our knowledgeable team.\n\nYou’ll learn how to use your D
 SLR or Compact System Camera to get started in Astrophotography. You’ll 
 also discover how you can use simple equipment such as a tripod\, to cap
 ture different images of the night sky\, from planets and constellations
  to the colours of stars and star trails. There’ll be a chance too\, to 
 look at additional equipment you can use to expand the range of images y
 ou make. No previous knowledge required. Wear a warm coat! Tea/Coffee in
 cluded.\n\nIn the case of cloudy skies\, you will have the chance to try
  out your equipment in our Inflatable Planetarium.
